GENERAL
PEQ coats are made with 96% natural cotton
and 4% conductive fiber for durability while allowing the coat to
efficiently drain static charge from the operator's body to ground.
Maintains excellent ESD features even after repeated washings. All
PEQ Coats and Smocks have 3-pockets. Meets or exceeds ESD
standards.
WHY ESD COATS?
ESD coats are required
primarily for 3 reasons:
- Shielding PEQ coats and smocks act
as a shield, covering the operator's street clothes and preventing
uncontrolled discharge.
- Grounding To drain all charges from
the operator to ground while sitting on ESD grounded chairs.
- No tribo charge PEQ coats and smocks do
not generate static charges. It's non-synethtic fiber does not cause tribo
charging.
COMFORT
PEQ coats are manufactured with natural cotton fabric, allowing
the operator to wear them for prolonged periods while maintaining a light
and transpirant, soft touch for maximum comfort.
DURABILITY
We know that when you purchase
an ESD coat, durability is of utmost importance. PEQ fabric easily withstands frequent
washings, without loosing its ESD properties. Durabile
and resistant to wearout even with continuous usage.
Conductive Fiber
The 4% conductive carbon fiber completely covers 1% nylon filament. Nylon will not contact skin, even after repeated washings.
